Welsh soprano Elen Lloyd Roberts is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and Durham University. She enjoys a varied career as a soloist and ensemble singer and is just as at home on the operatic stage as she is on the concert platform.

For the 25/26 season, Elen looks forward to returning to north west Wales to work with OPRA Cymru on their latest production. She will sing the roles of Gwladwen and Y Ferch in a tour of Gareth Glyn’s new opera Fflamau Penyberth.

Also this autumn, she joins the Choir of the Age of Enlightenment for performances of Bizet’s L’Arlésienne in London and Handel’s Messiah in Estonia. In the spring, she joins Utopia Choir and Orchestra once again for an European tour of Bach’s St Matthew Passion.

Elen was delighted to have advanced to the final of the Caffarelli International Singing Competition for Baroque Opera at the Traetta Festival in ‍Bitonto, Puglia in September.
